Apéritif is an iPhone app that shows a single cocktail each day — exact measures, the right glass, and a method worth following. No feed, no searching, no account.
There is no account to recover and no subscription to cancel, so most questions are short ones. Write to klncumit@gmail.com and you will get a reply from the person who made the app.
Why does the app show yesterday's cocktail in the morning?
The card changes at five in the afternoon, not at midnight, so the new drink arrives at the start of the evening. Before five you are still looking at the previous evening's card. This is deliberate.
Can I see a cocktail I missed?
No. Apéritif shows one cocktail a day and keeps no archive. That restraint is the product rather than a limitation of it.
Why is there no search?
Same answer. If you want to look something up, a search engine is better at it than any app.
The daily reminder isn't arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed for Apéritif in the iOS Settings app, then confirm the reminder is switched on in the app's own Settings. The reminder arrives at 17:15 in your local time.
Does the app work offline?
Entirely. Every recipe and photograph is included in the download, and the app makes no network requests at all.
Are the photographs real?
They are generated images. They depict no real person, place or product, and carry no branding.
